I actually don't like talking about myself. If someone asks how I'm doing, or how my job is going, I usually just say "Fine, thanks" and change the subject.

But a friend of ours is self absorbed, but not sure that she knows it. Shes one of those people where if you're telling a story about yourself, instead of being interested, SHE has to tell a story about HERSELF to try and top it. And she ALWAYS talks about her job, when no one even asks or cares!!! And i mean mundane details that are just unnecessary.
