DS is 2 days older! We just started transitioning the milk, and at first I started warming the milk too, but I am doing it a little less each day so that he gets used to cold milk. I always warmed formula.

We used powdered so it was always room temp. But when we had them made in advance or at the sitters they would be refridgerated and warmed up to room temp.

We stopped warming up completly at 9 months.

DS is almost 11 months old and we still take the chill off the bottle for him. I guess I could try just not doing it and see how he takes it. I was just curious about when other kids were fine with the cold. 11 months seems kinda late to be stopping I guess.

Around 3 months. Now they take it room temperature, but they will take it cold if necessary.

i never warmed the bottle for DS. Always served at room temp. at 3.5 months old I started the cold bottles for overnight feedings. My ped said that medically there is no reason to warm the bottle. The reason they suggest it is b/c it breaks down more of the protein in the formula so its easier for babies to digestive it most of the time.

I guess we tried to warm it up for about a month then just gave up. She coulda cared less. It was easy for us since she's an August baby warm milk seemed odd anyway. She liked it room temp and even cold.
