How old is a child usually when they are 18-23 lbs?
I see some bassinets, cradles say up to 18 or 23 lbs. So I am wondering, how old is a child typically if they are 18 or 23 lbs. Rough estimates are ok!

I would say 9 months or so, depending on the weight at birth
dd was born 9lb, 8oz and weighed about 18 lbs by 9 months

DD was 9lbs 4 ozs at birth - She didn't reach 18 lbs until 9 months - She was only 20 lbs 1 oz at 1 year. Depends on the child - I have friends with 9-11 month olds who are longer and heavier than DD - but were much smaller than DD at birth.
Etd to say I don't think DD is 23 lbs yet and she is 14 months now.

He is now 9.5 months and 20 lbs.

She just started standing up at 10 months. I think she started getting into a sitting position herself arpund 8-9 months,
Again, it depends on the child. They may start sooner or later.

Caden was 22lbs at his 6 month visit. Im sure he reached the 18lb mark at his 4 month visit.
They have to be out of the cradles and bassinets when they start "pushing" up...which is when they start pushing up on their hands. Usually around 5 months or so...
All my kids "pulled" up when they were 9 months or so. But that varies a lot.

Thank you!!! I am trying to decide b/w a bassinet or a cradle. Cradle says up to 18 lbs, bassinet says up to 23 lbs or when baby pulls up. That's why I am asking this all, I have no idea. So I appreciate your input.
Also, then another ? re cribs, etc. When does a baby usually start rolling over? Boy I know nothing about a baby!
Also when do many people move baby from parent's room to crib in their own room? B/c that's what I am trying to figure out.

DD outgrew the bassinet before she hit the weight limit b/c of how long she was. She clearly looked uncomfortable. She was 4 months. She will be 9 months on Thursday, and at 8 months she weighed 19 lbs 6 oz. She pulled up at 8 months almost to the day. From what I've read, that is a bit early (like a month or so).
DD rolled over from back to tummy (@ 4 months) a full month before she rolled tummy to back. She went into her crib at 4 months when she outgrew the bassinet.

DD was born at 8lb14oz, and at 1 year was 20.8llb...
She started pulling up about 8.5 months (and was walking by 10.5)...
We had her in the bassinet part of the pack and play for 6-7 weeks - then she went in her crib...
