How often do you mop/clean your floors?

And what do you do use to clean them?

Ex...traditional mop, swiffer, steam mop, etc.

swiffer wet a few times a week.

I have a cleaning person that mops every other week and she uses clorox on the surfaces she can and other solvents for the hard wood floors and laminate.

In the kitchen probably once a week and I use a steam mop

Sweep almost every day, vacuum & mop 2x week. I use a mop similar to the swiffer wet jet, but it has a reusable microfiber pad and you can use your own cleaning solution (I used vinegar & water). I scrub the kitchen & bathroom on my hands and knees once a week (I can't use the vinegar because I have travertine).

vacum and mop once a week, we dont' wear shoes in the house and we are never home

I mop & vacuum once a week...we also dont wear shoes in the house.

I use a microfiber towel to clean both the tile and wood floors. I use meyers lemon.

I sweep and swiffer wet mop just about every day.

I mop with a regular sponge mop once a week.

Bona mop every other day, I vacuum/sweep everyday, and I am looking into the steam mop but I am still undecided!

Vacuum everyday, sometimes twice a day, bc my lil one is a piglet. Swiffer kitchen everyday/every other day. Depends on the day

We really are dirt merchants.

Once per month here. Swiffer hardwood, mop tile, vacuum carpet.

Our house is combo of laminate wood floors and area rugs. I clean them every weekend, area rugs are vacuumed every weekend, at the same time I also use a Swiffer Wet Jet on the wood floors (kitchen, entry/hallway, and bathroom floor).

I have let it go 2 weeks though without vacuum/mopping and it got really nasty (I dont wear shoes in the house but DH does).

I vacuum the living/dining (wood laminate) and kitchen (tile) pretty much every night, every other. We have a cat and DD is a messy eater . I spot clean the floors during the week and we mop on the weekends. I vacuum the bedroom rugs each weekend or every other.

i also was feeling ashamed I only sweep 1-2 x per week. and a mop; maybe every 2 weeks. But it's just DH & I. If we had kids; I'm sure I'd be doing more cleaning up behind them and especially if they were crawling/playing on the floors!

(We have hardwood throughout w/the exception of Tile in the kitchen)

Once a week and I either use a regular mop or my swiffer with wet mop refills.

Answering my own question...

I mop every other weekend.

I vacumm every single day.

I'd love to mop every weekend but it's a pain in the neck and we're always so busy around here!

it's Dh's job, and i have no idea how often he does it. I don't really pay attention. It looks clean enough to me most days.
