How often do you give yogurt?

How often does your LO eat yogurt? DD is 8 months and she would eat it everyday for lunch if I let her. It seems like too much to me but I don't know why! What do you think?

Our pediatrician said 2oz every other day. I mix it with fruit. DD is 9.5 months old too.

I don't really think about unless she's not really drinking milk. Then I make an effort to give her yogurt.

My 10 month old loves yogurt and gets a Yo Baby every day for lunch. My almost 3 yr old is not as into yogurt, but he does like the Stonyfield Farm smoothies. He gets those 2-3 times a week.

pretty much every day. I have a picky eater on my hands, and it's something I know she'll eat, and it's healthy. it's our go-to lunch, with some fruit.

My one DC eats yogurt like 2xs a day sometimes. DC could sustain themselves on yogurt if I let DC.

She prob has it 4-5 times a week, and the full 4oz container at a time. No one ever told me to limit it.

DD is almost 3 and she's had it nearly everyday for lunch since she was 6 months old. She loves it!

What would be the issue with giving it every day? Just wondering.

DD would eat it 3 times a day if she had the choice. Sometimes she has it every day for a week (if I buy a big container and don't want it to go bad) and other times she may not have it for a few days. She usually has it with lunch.

Every day for breakfast, along with a handful of cheerios

My DD has eaten yogurt every, single day since she was 6 months old. She's 5 now. She looooooves yogurt.

It all depends on much dairy overall your dd is getting. If shes drinking a lot of milk then you may want to cut back, but if shes not then its fine everyday.

My dd eats it everyday but she drinks almond milk... So yogurt and cheese are her only sources of dairy.

At 8 months DS ate yogurt every day for b'fast or lunch with the nanny. Now it's maybe 2 or 3 times a week at most only because he eats more variety and prefers feeding himself more.

Too much dairy is hard on their digestive tracts.even if there isnt any allergy or intolerance or issues digesting it.

And they should be getting a variety of foods and nutrition so they arent trying to fill up on milk.

DD2 will be 12 months tomorrow and she eats yogurt 5x a week as an afternoon snack.
