How often do you buy clothes for yourself?
I very rarely shop for myself because I always say I could use the money for better things or don't need the debt, however, my wardrobe is really showing it now. I need to shop. But just curious, how often and how much do you shop?

Not often enough anymore. Anytime I go out to stores I have my son with me so it's hard to try anything on.

In late winter with my birthday money.
In June for some summer stuff.
In August for back to school stuff.
I actually allocate money and save so that I don't spend too much.

Clothes - only when I have to. I hate my body right now and I have no desire to buy any clothes.
Accessories are a different story.  They always fit.

About twice a year in the spring/fall for the next season. In between I only purchase if I need something for a specific event - never "just because."

During major sales! I actually just went all out on pants and now I am in desperate need of tops.
It has been a while since I shopped for myself though. I simply didn't have the opportunity with two small kids and DH beign away on business on and off for 8 months... and definitely started to show in my appearance... So, now I am on my way to remedying the situation!

if i'm out shopping for something else & i happen to see something that is nice & its not too much $$ (and i have a little extra $$ to spend that month) i'll buy it... this is usually how i aquire most of my clothes
i JUST did a huge shopping spree for the fall/winter b/c i hadnt bought new cold season clothes in about 2 years so i really needed some new clothes.... before that, the last time i went out & did a big clothes shopping was for our HM in may

I shop all the time at lunch, but I only have acess to 3 stores easily at lunch, so I don't buy a whole lot, but I do shop. I almsothave the curent Ann taylorp Loft inventory memorized.
I go through phases--I recently bought 3 pairs of pants, 2 sweaters, and 2 skirts in about a month, and that is a lot for me.

When I am happy with the way I look I buy a lot of clothes...constantly...which I have been doing lately and I need to STOP......I am out of room!
When I am not happy with my weight I buy shoes and bags

Too much. I only work 3 days a week so when I am off and I am bored I hit the stores in my neighborhood. Ann Taylor, ann taylor loft, banana, and victoria secret. The mall is less than 10 minutes from me (or 4 train stops) so I occasionally go there.

Not as often as I would like or used to. I'm also a SAHM now ,so I don't need too much. So far I am ok with what I have .( too many things with tags still on) . Used to shop for myself A LOT before I had DD and stopped working.
Now it's all about my DD or my DH,lol. everytime I go out to shop for myself I end up buying things for them

More often than I should. I'm a SAHM and even though I don't need much, I feel like the clothes that I had when I was working doesn't seem to be practical when I'm just bumming around the house with the kids. I mostly do my shopping online so it's like a double edge sword, but I try not to buy anything at full price. I just need to really control myself when it comes to handbags, shoes, and jeans.

Same here. Plus, i live 2 blocks away from 1 mall, 3 mins from another mall, and a ton of stores in between. I need to find a new (cheaper) hobby.

In the fall and the spring I buy myself new clothes. I buy a lot of basic pieces that I can mix and match.
As my budget shrinks and my wardrobe expands, I buy less and less stuff each year.
I also have gotten away from buying trendy things because I don't wear them as often.

I would say I pick myself up something every 4-6 weeks. About 2-3 times a year I go on "sprees" where I pick up a few new outfits.
