How much $$ wedding gift...
DH's cousin is getting married in December in Universal Studios in FLA. We will be traveling there and staying at the hotel in Universal.. all costing a pretty penny. My question is, with us paying for hotel & air... how much is okay to give for a gift?

I voted for 200 because 250 was not an option. It's still family even though you are paying a fortune for accomadations.

I say $100. If I were having a destination wedding, unless it was my immediate family, I would not expect they type of gift I would get if there was no traveled involved. In fact, I'd be surprised if I got anything.

I tend to give the same amount I would give to them if they had a wedding here. My gifts usually are decided in by the kind of relationship we have with the couple/person.

Yea, I do agree... I should preface, that I've never even met her.
She did not come to your wedding? Was she invited? Maybe than 200.00
What is your immediate family giving?

If you did want to go- I would give $200.00 most likely-now that I think about this more- I probably would not give that much- probably $100.00 and a registry gift-smaller item!

I agree! Especially now with the baby. It's too much. If you really really want to go, I would give $100-$150 tops and even that is too much after air flight and hotel for someone who didnt give you a gift.

I would give $100. Out of NY, they really do not give big sums of money. The 100 will probably be generous.

This is what I would do.
ditto. if i had a destination wedding i would just be happy people cared enough to come. you know there's an added expense to attend so to expect the same gift as a non DW would be a bit much.
