How much to add baby to Health Ins

I am covered through my job w/ Oxford. Good coverage, high deductible $50.00. I just got the quote to add LO to policy after 31 days is $541.00 a month. Is that high or average?

For just 2 of you per month - that's about average. If your DH is covered as well, that is a really good price per month.

This is additional $ just to add the baby. My coverage is partial paid by employer & myself

We had Aetna when we had dd and it was an extra 840 dollars a month to upgrade to a family plan. Our insurance out of pocket was 1,770 a month for the family. This time thankfully dh has a new job and our family plan only cost 900 a month.

DH and I have our own ins. I think it was about $240ish per month to add a child to either one. Children cost less than adults. It was an extra $280 every 2 weeks for me to add DH to mine.

some employers pay alot of the employee premium but not much of spouse orkids premium. my prem is 280 every 2 weeks for family. 6000 deductible

I pay $94 a month for myself, and DH has his own. At my job, to add DH or DC, or both, it goes from $94 to over $1000 a month! DH just got a promotion at work where he gets new insurance, so he is coming home with the packet to see how much it'll be to add the baby on his.
