We paid $10 with DS1. When I had DS2, she had just started college (paying her own way) and raised us to $13. DH thinks it is because DS2 cried the entire time the first time she sat for both boys though   but I will go with her paying her own way through college 
As much as we don't want to get taken advantage of, this is someone who is going to be taking full responsibility for the lives of my children. This wasn't something I was going to nickle and dime someone on, KWIM?
