How much should I pay her an hour??

I had a mothers helper back when Jeremy was born. She was 14 then. I have the same one here today. She is a daughter of a friend. She is 16 now. I am home today doing things, we are both tending to the kids but she is playing with them. I used to give her $8 an hour for the 1st 2. Not so much but enough since I am here 95% of the time. Now there are 3. What would be a good amount to pay? I was thinking $10 or $12? More??

I think 10 - 12 is good. I pay 10 an hour when I am not there for 2 kids.

Im not so far away from you. I just didn't know what the going rate was for a mothers helper with 2 1/2 kids.

Considering it's cash and tax free (I'm assuming) and she's a teen, I think it's great money to be honest.

I think 10$ is very fair considering there is 3. I pay my 22 yr old sitter across the street from me $6 for Jacob. That is what she charges.

I think that's fine. I pay my mother's helper $3 hr but she's in 5th grade and I don't leave the room when she's here. She just entertains bella while I get things done and they follow me around the house. For someone older, I'd pay $10 hr as long as you are home. More if there are more than one child.
