we did everything together except my dress of course and the flowers,he did not care about them at all

DH had me do a lot of the leg work. I went with mothers or sisters or friends or FSIL to look at halls. Then when I narrowed it down I brought him back to 2 of them.
I met with the photographer and then when we decided on it, he came to sign the contract. The florist was his cousin so I went with my mom, MIL, and SIL. The DJ was my cousin but the music was REALLY big to DH. He came with me to all the meetings with the DJ. Table names, he wrote the list (we used stadium names around the country with numbers), and of course he had fun run with the tuxes. I figured if he doesn't have a say in the bridal gown or bridesmaid dresses, why should I get a saw in what he wears and what his guys wear!?
Everything else I ran by him just in case but usually got a blank stare, until a month before the wedding!

Tons.. every part of it. I picked my dress LOL He helped with colors, theme, favors, flowers, etc.
Everything. Hey its his day too, why not?

He was involved in picking the place, the menu, the photographer, food and music

Not very, his biggest concern was budget.
He only had two requests- a location that was easy for our older relatives to get to and pigs in blankets during the cocktail hour because " they are the working mans hor devours" LOL

How much involvement did your DH have in wedding planning?
Not much. He was in Australia and I was on LI waiting for my visa. He visited once and came in a month before the wedding.
He helped with making tealight place cards, the program, and the menu. He also picked out his ring. That's about it. My mother and I did the rest because he wasn't in the same time zone.

DH had limited involvement, but that was because he was not on LI when were planning on wedding - so it was hard for him to have direct contact with vendors.

Dh had some involvement. He had certain things that I had delegated to him but I ended up doing most of them myself since he dragged his feet so much. I did all of the research and I presented him with choices. he was more interested in the big things (venue, food, music, photo) than with the little details. I mostly just showed him what i'd picked or a few options and he'd give an opinion then but it was a lot of "whatever you want, honey". He did have a lot to say when it came to picking the menu, though!
