Diana, that is such a nice set. do you have anywhere else that you could use it? you're going to have to sell it for practically nothing. Chat Icon

I agree. Start w/800 and go lower from there if need be. The problem is you won't get nearly as much as you think you should.

I really have nowhere to store it. James hates that it takes up a big chunk of our living room and wants to give the boys more room to wrestle Chat Icon

That picture doesn't do it justice AT ALL. The only thing I would do, and I know it sounds silly is change the knobs to antique finish, I think it will change the look and appeal to more buyers. Right now it looks country-ish and in person I do not get that feeling.

I would list for $1200 and see what happens. I think you will end up getting $1k which is a fair price for such a solid piece of furniture.

The Ethan Allen name will get you more. I just don't know how much. I think I'd start with 1k.

This is a really gorgeous set and you are going to take a big loss on Craigslist trying to sell it, everyone's looking for a huge deal on there Chat Icon If you can re-use, I would definitely do so. I know what your DH means by it taking up space though. We got rid of our unit when we moved and it definitely opens up the room. Good luck selling it, it's beautiful.

How much for the kid? hahah He's just adorable!
