Re: How much doesn't seem cheap
I guess I'm a scrooge. For my oldest brother's kids (who are extremely ungrateful to begin with), I give them $15.00 each - my daughter barely gets a gift comparable to that ($15.00). For my middle brother's daughter, I spend usually around $30.00 or more. For the kids in Texas, I usually spend about $25.00 to $30.00 each.

I spend between $30 and $50 on each and I have 10 kids to buy for.
The older ones usually get a little bit of a bigger gift than the younger ones.

Re: How much doesn't seem cheap
Having 14 and one on the way, I do between $15-25. One family gave DH Chanukah cookie cutters as his gift. Next year, I might do even less. I'm tired of putting effort each year and getting crap back.
