How much do movers cost?
We'll be closing on our condo and house on the same day.
So far, the best qoute we've gotten is $85 per hour- all hours, whether they're packing or the truck is sitting outside the new house for a few hours while we're officially closing. So, this becomes a 12 hour + venture...
There HAS to be another way, right???
Otherwise, looks like it's gonna be a UHaul for me...

that is one of the lowest prices I have ever seen
I think I paid $110 or $120 an hour

Seriously? I have to pay someone PER HOUR to sit outside and do nothing?

I've been quoted by the hour 120 to 130 an hour.
I have a 2 bed condo, with 2 babies, they quoted me 6-8 hours of moving including drive time to my house, to my new home and back to the warehouse.
And it's a cash business, but you know what, i've moved 4 times, this will be my 5th, since i've been in ct for 8 years and i am actually looking forward to not moving my big azz furniture.
WORTH EVERY PENNY!
We are moving on a tuesday and closing on a friday.
