I got each teacher (there are 3) $50 visa gift cards and vera bradley stuff- in total probably about $100 each person

DD goes to a sitter three days a week - we do not pay for holidays/days I have off work (I'm a teacher). I gave her two days pay plus a wine basket. She has grown to be like family and is wonderful to my daughter.

$25 gift certificates to amazon for 2 teachers.
along with a mrs. prindables gift set of pretzels I got on Rue La La.

I then went to Sams and bought 4 trays of muffins for all the other workers to have a breakfast treat.

Give what you can afford. daycare is already expensive.

Head teacher got a $25 gc to Target with a Vera Bradley ID case and some chocolates

Assistants got same things, except GC were $15

I also sent a Cheryl's cookie basket to the center

I already shell out alot of money so I did what I could afford

In total about $230.

DS was just moved up a class, but the teacher he had in the summer is is teacher now. His assistant is like his girlfriend. I gave both the old and new head teacher 50, the old and new asst 25 3 floaters 15 and I brought in bagels and cc for everyone. Now I am wondering if I spent too much. Last year DS was at a babysitter and I spent a weeks pay which was about this!

My girls only go 2 days a week. $15 per teacher and breakfast is being delivered tomorrow to the entire staff

he has 5 teachers so i gave each a Bath & body works gift basket ($15 each) $10 GC's to Starbucks and mini perfumes. I hope its enough, I just cant afford more.

A lot. About $300 total.

I gave six 3 wick candles to the teachers. Three to floaters, two to the assistants with $20 in the card and one to DD's main teacher with $150. DD has been with her for a year and she is the most amazing woman ever. If I had $1000 to give her I would have.

I did not give that much last year. But I really felt her teacher this year deserved it.

I did my own $20 gift and they collected $10 each to do a group gift.

Baked giant chocolate chip cookies for the front, gave $10 mugs to each of his teachers with $25 Starbucks gift cards. He goes 3 days/week.

I also baked snickerdoodles for the kids and got them little bath toys.

$25 for each for the two assistants plus the cute slipper socks
candles for the two co-owners
for his girl friend teacher next door that visits and loves him I gave her slipper socks and lotion

not sure of the total... maybe $175ish

i wish it could have been more but we had to buy for 4 teachers since DS just moved up to a new room (last week)

$50 amex GCs and chocolates for the head teachers
$25 amex GCs and chocolates for the assistants.

We also had to buy a baby gift for one of the assistants, she is 37 weeks preggo

3 baskets for the teachers...one for each of the kids rooms and one for the room that shares a half wall. They had hot chocolate mix, caramels, chocolate dipped oreos and stationary and hand sanitizer.

Chocolates for the office staff

Champagne for the director, assistant director and owner.

Sean's main teacher left to be a Nanny a few weeks ago, and he switched rooms last week - Everyone got a GC

So, the 2 'new' teachers in his 'old' room got $25 , the brand new teacher that I JUST met in his new room got $15, the girl that's there when I pick him up every Thurs/Fri nigth got $25. and the '2nd' teacher in his new room that was sometimes in his 'old' room also got $25

I didn't know what to do - and I wasn't giving everyone $50 - If his main teacher hadn't left, I would have given her $75 and the rest $25

ETA: He goes 3x a week

But that's for about 17 people at the daycare between the 2 boys.

I spent $50 on each teacher.

oh geez...I feel horrible. Seems like the going rate is $50. I only spent $20 and then made treats for everyone. It's also hard for me to say who really is her head teacher these days...

This is my first year doing it so maybe I get a pass but...geez, I feel awful. Maybe I'll run out and get something else on the way there.

Head teacher $20 gift card and $8 ornament, so $28 total.

4 teacher aides got $15 gift cards each and a Pier 1 cute soap for $2.50 each, so about $17 each.
