How much cash to daycare workers?
I want to go by Ryan's daycare and bring cash (I don't have time to shop and honestly think they'll appreciate cash more).
How much do you think for...
the director (love her and she was Ryan's teacher last yr)
main teacher (love her)
asst teacher (barely know her but know she exists  )
I'm mostly stumped for director...
$25 and maybe a box of chocolate?
$50 for main?
$25 for assistant?
WWYD?
Ryan went about 2-3 days a wk from April through October

I think that is very generous. I'm sorta in the same boat...
his two main teachers I'm going to give $50 visa or amex card along with those slipper socks (since they can't wear socks in the infant room)
for the "floaters" that I don't know at all... box of choc or cookies from Costco for them to share
morning teacher that I love... socks and anti-bacteria lotions.
Director - snowman platter dish and antibacteria lotion
owner - candle and antibacteria lotion
I think I got them all...
When are you giving the teachers their gifts?
I was thinking Monday

My kids aren't in daycare now b/c I'm on maternity leave, but I think they have Santa there tomorrow so I was going to bring Ryan and bring the gifts in too.

Our daycare sent out a note asking each family to contribute 100 dollars which will be split evenly among the teachers/workers. I think that's a good idea.

I wish ours would do something like this!!
I bought cute Yankee candle festive candles and will give Chase debit/gift cards
I am going to be broke since we have tons of teachers with the 2 kids going there
