How much? Bday party-related...
How much soda (2 liters) do you think would be good for about 40 adults? There's also about 6 kids over the age of 8 that will probably drink it too.
Does anyone know what stores have it on sale this week?

I could be off, but I'd get 3 of each: coke, DC, and Sprite. Maybe a seltzer or two... I think that should be fine. Don't forget bottled water - lots of people opt for that instead of soda!

CVS is having a huge sale. With our families, Diet Coke is always more popular than coke, so I got like 6 Diets and 2 regular, some sprite, a case of water, an orange soda, a fruit punch, and some root beer.

I would do 5 bottles of each: Diet, regular and some sprite. LOTS of bottled water too. 2 liters are so cheap, so if you have a few extra, what does it hurt? If your party is outdoors, do extra water.

Re: How much? Bday party-related...
I think I bought about 15 or so 2 liters of various soda. I also had selzer and club soda...we had a TON left over! I think most people were drinking beer or water. But it doesn't hurt to have left over soda
we had about 45 people

I have about the same number of adults. I bought a 12 pack of coke, diet coke and sprite. I figure outside, in the heat, most people will drink water, so I got 3 cases of water. I am also going to get some juice boxes for the kids.

I don't know if it is just our friends but no one seems to drink soda. I bought 2 bottles of everything and we took it all home. I want to say the diet coke was opened but that's it. I think everyone drank the little water bottles I got for the kids.

Re: How much? Bday party-related...
We just had about the same number of people and from what we had left over. I'd say 2 bottles of coke and 2 bottles of sprite. and like 4 bottles of diet coke.
Little water bottles were also a big hit between adults and kids.

Re: How much? Bday party-related...
i'd do 2 coke, 2 diet, 2 sprite (unless you want to offer more choices), and mini water bottles, the big water bottles are easily wasted.
