How many weeks is considered full term?

How many weeks is considered full term? Is it 37? Or 38? I hear mixed answers about this one!

Re: How many weeks is considered full term?

My current OB considers full term 36 weeks. The OB I had when I was pregnant with DS said full term was 37 weeks.

Re: How many weeks is considered full term?

37 weeks, Im am positive of this

my twins were born 36 weeks 6 days... they were considered "late pre-term" because of that ONE day and had to go through extra tests at the hospital.
