How many states have you been to?
How many states have you been to? By "been to", I would count stopping for a few hours at an attraction on a long drive, but I wouldn't count an airport layover, or stopping at a rest stop for a bathroom break or meal.
I think I've been to 21 so far.
ME, NH, VT, MA, RI, CT, NY, NJ, PA, DE, MD, VA, NC, GA, FL, IL, UT, WA, OR, CA, HI
+ Washington DC
Almost none of central US states. Pretty much stuck to both coasts...

17. I want to make it to all of them-we generally try to visit at least one new state a year.

Weird, I counted 17 too! That's only if I count New Mexico which I only visited by standing on the 4 corners border.

How many states have you been to?
Have been to 24 and 26 left to see.
Have been to every state on the east coast, most of the west coast (not Oregon), Alaska, Ohio, Illinois, Nevada, Arizona & Utah

My friend had a goal of doing 50 states by her 50th birthday and succeeded last Summer. Pretty cool idea!

Not if you just drove through. If you stopped for an extended period of time, like to see the Biggest Brick in Arkansas, or the Biggest Jack-in-the-Box in Connecticut, etc., then I would count that.

How many states have you been to?
I have a scratch map at home, you scratch off all the state you've been to. Its pretty nice and would probably make a good gift.
I forget the exact count. But following a band around the united states has made me visit many more states then I would have. (Like Mississippi, Alabama, Texas, Indiana)

Ok gotcha. So then my number of states would be 13. Furthest being Hawaii.
ETA I have a coworker whose goal is to visit every ballpark in the US and I think he only has 5 or 6 left to go. This is something I would totally do! Maybe when I retire.

Toronto is neat. We stayed in a hotel, and the window of your room opens into the stadium-so we sat in our room and watched the game from the window.
San Fran, Boston, and Chicago were all great.
Tampa was by far the worst.

24 and DC, where I used to work. A lot of it has been visiting DH when he was in the military and work travel. Interestingly, all states except one, have been on the coasts.
