Pleasant surprise/first month? lol 
Explanation: We actually discussed it and decided in late June that we were going to start trying the following month...
Little did I know... two weeks after the talk, we got BFP!
Seems like DS heard us talking and decided to be conceived right away on HIS timetable, not ours!!!

No probs with my son. I got pg again when he was 22 months had a m/c at 6 weeks, got pg immediatley had another m/c. It took me a total of 17 months to get where I'm at now

I would say pleasant surprise. We stopped using BC in Jaunary last year and kind of took a "whatever happens, happens" approach. We tried to avoid BDing around that time of the month because we weren't ready to be "official" but I guess we messed up!

4 months :)
It took us 4 months too, I got my BFP a week before I had an appointment with a doctor to start tests to see if I was going to have trouble getting PG. My cycles were so out of whack I thought there was a chance I wasn't ovulating. Apparently I was wrong.

We officially "tried" for 3 months. I don't O on my own, so I conceived during my 1st cycle on Clomid.

We were definately planning on trying but we thought it would take A LOT longer considering I'm closing in on 40 in a couple years and I thought my body would need time to adjust from going off the pill. It literally took about 10 days, so yes, in a way we WERE shocked!!
