how many kids do you plan to have? how far apart?

i'd love to have 3 but realistically we'll prob. have 2

i would want them exactly 3 years apart.

dh wants 3 or 4.. I would love to have 3.. but all depends.

Baby #2 is due in feb.. so baby #1 and baby #2 are 17 months apart..

Now if we have a house with in 3-4 years and can financial afford a 3rd then we will go for it. so far not seeing this happening.

2-4 and probably aim with them being 2-3 years apart.

again finances and such play a huge factor

I used to want 2-3 (2 if we got boy+girl and 3 if we got 2 of the same sex). I read that 2.5-3.5 yrs apart was optimal sibling spacing. I had it all planned out.

Now that I am having such a difficult pregnancy, I seriously think this will be our only child. I don't think I can go through this again.

DH and I always planned on having 2 kids. DD #1 is 18 months and DD#2 is due next month.

I wanted 3 about 1.5 years apart, but it took us 2 years to get pregnant with our first I'm approaching 38, so chances are that's not going to happen.

Our plan is to go back to the RE next fall when this one is about 8 months old to do a frozen embryo transfer with 2 of the embryos we have frozen. So unless I get pregnant with twins and it sticks next time (I was pregnant with twins this pregnancy, but lost one), only 2 kids for us.

I would like to have 2, but we'll see how this one goes first.

I don't want to go for #2 for 3 years or so.

DH is terrified that I will have twins next time (runs in both our families), so he says he will be content with 1.

I think we would like 3. DS just turned 18 months and we plan on TTC again in December. If we get preggo as planned, we will have a Sept. baby and DS and the next baby will be approx. 2 years and 5 months apart. A little more space than I would have like but I developed a hernia after having DS and have to have it removed.

After we have #2 I probably would try for baby #3 within a year or so. I want to be done having kids by the time I'm 30.

I want 3, DH wants 2. DD#1 is 2 and DD#2 is due the end of the next month. If we go for #3 I would also like about 2 years between the next 2.

2 two to three years apart....DH wants possibly three if the next one is a girl also, he seems to think we're only going to have girls and no boys LOL

2 or 3 (I am leaning towards 2, DH wants 3)

I want to have number 2 before I am 35. I am 32 now.

probably 3. we sometimes say 4, but I think I'm too old. I'm 30 now, will be 31 right around when DD #1 is born. 2 years apart.

I always thought 2-- but, have maybe revised that to 1.

We need to see how this one goes-- and it depends on the baby's sex also.

If we were to have another one, I'd like be pregnant by April 2011 so the kids will be 2 years apart, although I would prefer to wait longer-- I ain't getting any younger.

2-3 depending on how we feel after 1. Not sure how far apart... DH would opt for 2 years apart, but I think that's too much for me.

We would like 4 but a lot depends on how my body handles the pregnancies (this one - my first - has been great but you never know!) and on finances. Depending on how we do with , we'd like to be trying again for #2 next summer for a spring/summer 2010 baby. We'd like to have them all relatively close together.

Joe and I just talked about this...We would LOVE to have 4, but would be thrilled to have 1 happy healthy baby...I know everybody says that. I would settle for 2. After this baby we'll use BC for the 1st 6months, then take a what ever happens approach to #2, and after it's been 1-1.5yrs we'll start charting and really getting it together for #2 if it hasn't happened yet.

Assuming delivery doesn't scare the bejesus out of me and all goes well with that, we hope to have a second child within the next two years.

Well we think we will stop at 2 so this one is it for us. DD will be a few weeks short 2 when DC#2 comes alone.

I'd love to have 3, between 2 and 2 1/2 years apart.

I know I'm going to have to fight for a third though. DH thinks 2 is plenty. I come from a family of 6 (4 kids) and like the idea of more than 2.
