Her school offered either 3 or 5 day pre-k and either mornings or full day.
We chose the 5 mornings. I like the transition - last year was 3 mornings, this year 5 mornings, and next year 5 days full-day kindergarten.

3 days.
when i signed him up last year our district didn't have full day kindergarten and has since gone full day. i was thinking of changing him to 5 day but it is too much $ to me.

3 half days in a pre-k classroom.
1 half day at the same school, but in an activity and movement class in a gym with a phys ed teacher.
In october she'll start 1.5 hours once a week at the school where she'll go to kindergarden.
It is 5 days a week but they are short.
She has afternoon activities to help stretch her day - Tae Kwon Do and Dance.

DD will go 4 days 2.5 hours plus 3 enrichment classes (we have also signed her up for soccer and dance). Her school enrichment is literacy and lunch, music (in addition to what they learn in school) and explorations (science).

3 days, 6 hours per day. we might bump him up to 5 days after Christmas to get him ready for full-day kindergarten. We have not decided yet; it will depend if we send him to camp this summer.

Wow I am not MOTY for sure. My almost 3 year old goes 4 days a week and I am debating sending him 5.
Mine is the same age, and he goes 5 days a week 8:30-2:30, then he gets bused to his old daycare for a few more hours until I can pick him up from work. It's good for him though--he badly needs the socialization, and I'm a working Mom so there is really no other option.

My daughter will be going 5 days from 9-12. In january 2 days will extend to 2pm and in march she will go 4 days 9-2 and 1 day 9-12. My older daughter did the same schedule last year and started kindergarten this year and the transition was very easy for her. She is still tired, but she was ready to be at school for the longer day.

DS# 1 went 3 afternoons a week (private)
DS# 2 the same
DD goes every afternoon for 2 1/2 hours (UPK)

DD will be 4 in November. She just stared Pre-k and is going 5 days from 8:30-2:50. Our public school has full day pre-k program by lottery and thank God DD got in.

Another full time 3yr old here.
8:30 – 2:30pm – 5 days a week.
She’s in before care for a half hour (if you call it that) and afterschool care from 2:30 – close to 6pm.
She’s in a class with 3-4-5 yr olds. Plus they are opening a lower level elementary class next fall for 5yr olds. Its my hope to keep her there through 1st grade.
I think it’s wonderful. Mostly because I’m a FTWM, secondly she’s learned so much. I see it as totally normal because we’ve done nothing else but full time care.
So without a doubt she'll be 5 full days at age 4

2 days a week, typical pre-k, PM program.
