How long for the Nuchal Translucency results?
The blood work portion? Did your doctor call you with the results?

I had it done off site at a women's center (as opposed to my PB's office), If I was going to call someone who would I call, the place that did it or my OB's office?

WAAAYY too long - 12 days - but I think I was on the extreme side of the timeline..... don't really know why it too so long.
My Dr's office said I would have the results in about 10 days....
Madonna(place of test) told me that the Dr would have my results in 3 days....

i got my results 2 weeks later for at my check up/
dr said she would only call if something was wrong
i had a follow up sono at 16w my results were in the same day and my afp blood was in after 2business days

I am going to go to Madonna, when I called for my apt. I had to make a second one for the results. I thought they give you everything when you go back? I talked to my friend who also went there and she did not have to go back.

well I spoke with the nurse and she said that my results came back "perfectly normal"
Not sure of the exact numbers but I will take that

I had to call my doctor for the results, I think it was almost 2 weeks after the test. It seems like their approach was no news is good news....this mommy-to-be wants to hear news, good or bad!!

Mary, the 2nd appt is optional. I always opt not to go and just wait to get the results from my dr.

I went on the 3rd and they called me last week with my results. Some dr's dont call unless they find something wrong. Give them a call.

same here..... i was worried, but figured they'll call if they need to. nothing was amiss, so we just talked about the results at my next visit.

Madonna told us to make an appointment with the genetics counselor 10 days after the test to have the results explained. If there is something of concern, they would call us sooner to come in before the 10 days.
