How Long??
Another question, I'm meeting my gyno in two months, but how long do you normally TTC before getting technical (ie temp, etc). We have just started TTCing.

I think that's a personal choice. In my case, we knew immediately it was going to be challenging, so I started with the OPKs and temping right away.

definitely a personal choice. We did one month of "whatever happens" but after a disappointing BFN and late AF, we decided to start using OPKs.

That is up to you. We started with OPKs right away. My cycles vary a little in length & I just felt better knowing that we would definately BD at the right time.

It is definately up to you. We tried for 6 months before using OPK's. I found that my cycles do vary & KNOWING when you O is a lot easier on yourself emotionall & physically..

That is really up to you. We tried naturally for 3 months then we realized we had some other problems and started temp and using saliva opks.

I tried for 2 months (this month I didn't avtively ttc because of other reasons). I did whatever happens one month and one month of opk's. The month I used OPK's what the worst-It was a little too much pressure for me. Although-I'm not saying I would never use one again! Right now I'm feeling that it is all in Gods hands and timing and I pray this feeling sticks!

I didn't ovulate for years, so I was checking to see if I was ovulating once the doctors gave us the green light to try. I didn't temp, but I think I would've had we gone longer without conceiving. Everybody is different.
