How is LICM in Garden City for a 2.5 year old?
Is it worth it for that age, or geared more towards older children?

Re: How is LICM in Garden City for a 2.5 year old?
My DS is 2.5 and we took him about a month ago or so. They have a toddler play area which he enjoyed and they also had a bubble room he had fun in. There are some stuff that is only for older kids (there is a climbing thing that my DS wanted to go into but they said you had to be 4 and over, so he had a meltdown) but for the most part I think your DC would enjoy it.

I saw the climbing thing on their website, and I'm thinking my dd will have a meltdown too if she can't go in it

dd loves it. We went once around that age and once when she was younger and she had fun both times. They have the toddler area, bubble area, sand area, tons of different blocks, bugs and other small animals. If you can get free library passes is definitely worth it!

The children at that age will LOVE IT. And honestly, I dont even think your child will notice the climbing tunnel or whatever you call it.

I took my son, he is only 1, but he absolutely loved it. I think it would be even better for a 2.5 year old.

DS just turned 2. We've had a membership since he was 1.5. I bring him often and he loves it. I find he always does something different when we're there. He'll play in the drum room a lot one time, and then next time be obsessed with the blocks. He's never tried to climb in the jungle gym. It's so much fun!

We started at 1.5. Lots of fun for the little ones. We spend around 2.5 hours.

I have 2.5 yo triplets and we love it and go often. In addition to the tot spot and the bubbles, we love the music room which is all contained so you can sit for a minute lol.

DD loves it, partially for the nature of the activities, and partially because she's in a place where she is allowed to touch everything!
