Christina Its like anOlive Garden id say but a little better. Reasonable Italian food chain.there is one in Happaugue which isnt to far from you.

i went there for lunch the day after i got engaged.....it was very good

ok i will i was there once before about three years ago but it was when i was wedding hall shopping so i wasnt paying attention to the food just talking baou tthe halslls LOL.. ahh to be a bride to be agian.... Christina have you gone to eat at some of teh Pt Jeff places? I love that town.. are you in walking distance of town??

yep...we can if we wanted to, but with that darn hill, and the stroller, I wouldn't attempt it!! 
we've only eaten at Toast...the food was good, but the service $ucked the day we went b/c they were short staffed. but I'd defnitely go back.
i've heard different reviews about some of the restaurants by the marina. but my manager told me the best one she's been to for seafood is the one at the end of main street, where it splits, and you have to go either left or right...she said the restaurant on the right hand side is pretty good.

we wnto one across from Danford( the really $$ one) i think its called portofino anyway its a whoite building looks liek it was once a house and it has dining on teh outside porch area. I had a paninni it was sooo goood OMG

I've been to Bertucci's in Hauppauge...I thought it was pretty good!!!
Christina, as for restaurants in Port Jeff...I'd definately recommend Pasta Pasta, Pace's and Elk Street Grille (all alittle pricey though)

no kidding!!
bad thing is they just had a "Masters Society Cocktail Reception" (what a mouthful, huh?) at the Crest Hollow Country Club, but I didn't go.  wish I would have.

I got 3 people I believed on their caramelized onions- Delicioussss
I always get the chicken margherita pizza with caramelized onions
