went to Bertuccis tonight and....
had the worst service ever! I left a 10 cent tip. It was actually a canadian dime. But now I feel bad. I know they make really crappy money... AND I never do that.. BUT IT WAS REALLY BAD...

HMMM... We ordered our drinks. NEVER CAME NEVER CAME NEVER CAME in the meantime she took orders for the two tables next to us. And brought them refills. Mike got chicken parm that came with salad and pasta. Guy comes out with our meals SKIPPED the salad. STILL DONT HAVE DRINKS! Waitress comes with the salad and our drinks. Then like 5 minutes latter comes with our meals. Mikes pasta was COLD. My drink is by this time was 3/4 of the way empty. She doesnt bring me a refil. She never comes to ask if everything is ok. Im eating a slice of my pizza and she asks can I wrap that up for you? Does it look like im DONE.. I was just like ya you can.I didnt want to sit there anymore. THEN she goes do you want another drink  
We should have gone to Fridays like we wanted to they were packed and bertuccis wasnt now I know why!

sounds like she was Definitely a Moron!!! and it doesnt really sound like Waitresing is really her 'Calling' 
sorry you had such a crappy experience.... i would still be fuming over it (i have Extremely low tolerance for Incompentance  )

omg i understand what you are talking about! i went to fridays with my friends and we ordered our drinks i think it was 1 hour till we got our drinks than we ordered our meal(appertizers some of us had dinner) than when it came to ice cream we must have waited about 45 minutes for it and when it did come it was soupy! i wont go back to that one again that was in commack. we did not leave the lady a tip what so ever! oh the best part was there were two couples that was seated after us well they got there drinks right away and there food right away and they were out the door. than we asked to speak to a manager the poor kid must been scared he was walking around like he did not know what to do and when the lady came she asked if everything was ok we were like NO and we dont want to pay for our ice cream. well i didn't because 1 it was soupy and two they gave a totally different order from what i asked! . what a night that was and i rememered it like yesterday it was like almost 2 months ago that happened.

IMO, I think you were justified in not tipping. A tip is not a given, it should be earned, regardless of what the person is making per hour.
I used to wait tables too and always leave good tips, but only when the person worked for them.

I felt really bad. but I was definetly annoyed! We were gonna leave when we waited so long and she still didn't bring us our drinks! THEN no one even came to appoligize. We went to the outback once, And our meals took a long time and the manager came to us and appoligized and offered us free desert! NOTHING at bertuccis.
You guys made me feel better! Thank you!!

Nothing I can't stand more is cold food.
Cold food usually means the waitress or the food runner was lazy and delayed in getting the food to you. It was probably sitting there for a while.

i don't blame you for not leaving a tip. if she is supposted to be earning money on her tips, you would think she would take better care of her customers.
and we've done that more then once, as far as no tip. i felt bad about it once or twice, but if the food is cold and/or the order is wrong......

No the food was cold because They brought it before our drinks and salad so they brought it back.

I was with you! It was Friendlys, not Friday's! Yes, it was an awful experience. When we went back though, earlier in the evening a few weeks ago, we had great service!
