How inaccurate are my temperatures........
if I have been temping at different times everyday?
I normally would take my temp at the same time everyday but I teach and it's a 4 day weekend for us and I was always afraid of waking up to temp and not falling back asleep, and I NEED this weekend to sleep in, I have been SO sleep deprived (and that's without a baby! )
.. so I have been temping at random times as soon as I wake up.
Are my temps really inaccurate? They have basically been the same everyday (97.5) except today was the latest I woke up and it was 97.6.

Re: How inaccurate are my temperatures........
They normally say that every half hour extra you sleep in your temp possibly goes up so it wouldnt be accurate. In order for it to be accurate you have to temp at the same time everyday- on the weekends I still set my alarm to 6am and I honestly go right back to sleep
Its good to wake up at the same time so that you are able to analyze your chart and compare your pre-O temps to your post-O temps. Really when you get used to it, you'll be able to fall back asleep. I woke up at 6am today- took my temp and didnt get up until 10:30

Thanks! I guess I haven't been too nutty about temping yet because I haven't yet been close to Oing ..... but now that I'm at CD10 I'll be much more on top of things

Re: How inaccurate are my temperatures........
I take my temp at 5:50 every morning, because that is when I get up for work. On the weekends, if I am near "O" then I temp, or if its after "O" and i want to make sure temp is till up
if its during AF or i know i didnt "O" yet, then I dont always temp on the weekends - I did when I was charting with DS but now I have to sleep as much as I can LOL

Re: How inaccurate are my temperatures........
I totally can relate...I only had 2 days of work this week but I've been setting my alarm as if I have work in order to get an accurate temp I'm 9DPO so I'm trying to see if/when my temperature falls so I've been sucking it up and waking up to temp.
I also temp when I actually get up and it's usually like a few 10ths higher.
