How have you changed since TTC?
I've been eating much healthier - cut out fried foods completely and increased my veggie intake. I'm trying to lose 5 lbs and weigh 115 lbs when I conceive. I've also been cutting down on my caffeine consumption. I had caffeine withdrawal last week but feel better now.

i have learned so much....that i feel more in tune with my body - and i always thought i was...but now i'm learning so much more!
i'm trying to cut down on caffeine, but having just finished a VERY ROUGH paxil withdrawl, that will have to wait a little longer...

Same here. With the exception of taking vitamins & cutting waaaaay down on soda, all of the changes have been negative. I'm crazy, a bit depressed & I've become much more negative & pessimistic.

I try very hard not to let the pressures of TTC get to me. Some days I'm very positive and some days I get a bit depressed. Fortunately, no one around me has noticed any change b/c I pretty much keep those feelings to myself.
I am eating healthy and exercise daily..which is very helpful mentally as well as physically.
Just have to keep positive and know..when it's my time..it's my time.

My husband and I were talking about what we've been going through the past 2 years with TTC and what you said above is exactly is what he actually feels and thinks too!

The biggest way I have changed is my attitude towards TTC and those with infertility issues. I don't think I even knew that most of these issues even exisited and now I feel this bond with others who are TTC and I'm really empathetic to other by NOT asking "so when are you having kids?"

I have to agree..I am very mindful before asking any questions. It's a sensitive and personal topic.

This is going to sound nuts but TTC has taught me to be very humble! I don't take things for granted anymore. Well, I am not perfect so at least I tried. My best friend became a 26 year old widow around the time we started TTC so the 2 events together really changed me.
I mean silly things like: I am trying so hard to be more patient with DH. My greatest accomplishment is at work though. I used to just straight brush people off because they weren't "worth my time". That is rude and so mean but now I've really tried to do whatever I can at work to make it a better place. I've also worked hard to contact old friends I've lost touch with. TTC has taken a very strong emotional toll on my heart and I just feel lucky to be where I am right now in the game rather than out there with no clue on what to do about conceiving.

I feel the same way! I have also started to take better care of myself and just pay more attention to my body in general.

I could have written this myself.  I have a journal from when I started and I was so happy go lucky. Fast foward to now and everything just plain 5ucks.

I think this is awesome...reading it makes me want to take my emotions from TTC and use them to learn to be compassionate, too, rather than feel sad when things don't go my way.
