Daycare is 2 minutes from my house, and about 30 minutes from work.
Same. I don't go back to work until the fall, so I don't know how this will work out.

I live and work close to home and DS is with family for now so I am not currently in the situation but personally I would pick a daycare close to work vs. home unless someone is available near the daycare to get to DC ASAP if need be (like a grandparent or aunt/uncle).
