How far along were you when you registered??
Just wondering
I was thinking of starting when I'm 20 weeks- is that too early?

I was 12 weeks when I started. As soon as I got the results from the Ultra Screen we went over to BRU.

I'm 18 weeks, and we just started one at BRU. After my level 2, we'll do all the nursery stuff at PB kids.

We started at 11 weeks  We couldn't wait!
For us, it made more sense to go early. I have back problems, and knew I wouldn't want to be spending hours on end at BRU once I started getting bigger.

Started a few weeks ago, it has been very overwhelming. I am still working on it, at 24 weeks. I say get started, it's a lot of stuff to think about.

I started at 22 weeks after DH hinted that his mom was asking where we were registering...
Found out recently that they are planning a surprise shower for me and likely needed to add the store name to the invite....
Once you find out the baby's gender it's a good time to register...

I waited until I did my Level II, so I could find out the sex. So, I waited until 21 weeks.

Waiting until after my Level II which is less than 2 weeks away. But most likely won't start my registery until Oct/Nov. I'm not having a shower, so I'm really in no rush.

I started my registry early because I was home sick with bronchitis and was bored. It was before I had my ultrascreen. At that time, I only put a few things down. Little by little I've been putting more things on it and even took a ride to BRU with DH to check out PNP, travel systems and furniture. Once I find out the sex (hopefully next Saturday, if not the Saturday after that), I'll go back to put clothes and stuff for a boy or a girl on the registry.

20 weeks too early  No way... but I was early! I seriously micromanage everything that enters our home. everything has to be 'just so'. becuase of that, I started registries right after the ultrascreen results, and kept changing my choices over and over again until I was finally satified. This way, I had a good 3 months to liesurely plan.
The last situation I wanted to be in was being at BRU, confused and with a registry gun, randomly selecting strollers and pack n plays w/o reading tons of reviews......
It worked well in the end. Everything so far seems to be very good quality.
