Re: How do you temp?
you should use a basal thermometer... because its more sensative and detects the slightest temp change... i got one on amazon.com for a few bucks...
you should go to fertilityfriend.com and read up on it...

Re: How do you temp?
from what I know, you use a basal thermomer ($10 or less), start on CD1. wake up at the same time every day and take your temperature (avoid too much movement, so take it while you are still laying in bed). record it in a website like FF. You'll get a cross hairs when you get the temp rise and drop to tell you that you've ovulated.
good luck!

YUP that is basically it! i bought mine from a local pharmacy it was $8.99. you really have to avoid getting up before taking the temps so i kept my thermometer on my night stand...as soon as my alarm went off i took my temp.

Re: How do you temp?
Does temping show when you actually ovulate or just about. Is it much more accurat than OPK?
TIA!

it tells you that you actually ovulated. OPKs don't do that, they just detect the surge in the hormone, but you may never ovulate. temping is the only thing that tells you you ovulated.
