 | Re: Which do you think is more acurate.. Temp Or Opk They are used for different things.
Opks are ovulation predictors, temps can't predict ovulation, they can just confirm

Charting your temps, help you see patterns. You can see what type of hormonal shifts your body is going through, you see if your hormones are stable or erratic.

Temping basically gives you all around information on your cycles. If you are charting the temps.

Many times, women have positive opks but never ovulate...temping would confirm when you did O.

 | Re: Which do you think is more acurate.. Temp Or Opk I use both just to be safe . I think they're both accurate of course, but an OPK will tell you when you will be "O", and charting will tell you for sure that you did "O". I think they're both great to use. Good luck! | | Posted 1/9/06 3:24 PM |

 | Re: Which do you think is more acurate.. Temp Or Opk Ive been using both..the OPK keep showing negatives ( and yes I do it in the afternoon after not peeing for about 4 hours)
But my temps did a little dip the other day and then shot up way high.. looked like everyone elses temp charts when they O.
Maybe its nothing..but i was wondering if I could of O'd and it didnt show up on the OPK.
 Thanks

Yes ! That's why it's good to use both. If you have two more days of temps that remain high...you will get a 'coverline'. That's when it's fairly safe, to stop bding. If you want, post your chart.
