Re: How do you sleep at night?
As long as you are comfortable, sleep however you can! Your body will let you know when you can no longer sleep on your back or your right side.
Sleeping those ways does not affect the baby at all. It's more about you, which is why your body will let you know!
I'm a left sided sleeper naturally, but as I've gotten further along in my pregnancy, I find sleeping on my right is much more comfortable for some reason.

Re: How do you sleep at night?
Either right or left side...I sometimes turn over onto my belly during the night, and last night when I did it, it hurt so much I woke up! My belly is becoming harder, so I think I've got to cut out sleeping on my belly.

I suggest get one of those snugglie pillow things. It's 40 bucks but worth it. Unfortunately, it might not get much better.

Re: How do you sleep at night?
I'm normally a stomach sleeper but ever since I found out I was pregnant I stopped sleeping on my stomach. Now I just sleep on whatever side I can get most comfortable on. I absolutely cannot sleep on my back, I find it to be so uncomfortable.

Re: How do you sleep at night?
You can sleep however you want and however you are comfortable. If that means sleeping on your head with your legs in the air then go for it.
I now sleep with a snoogle. But i sleep (and have always slept) on my left, right, back and sometimes half on my belly. You get to a point where you can't sleep much at all so just do whatever works so you can get a little shut-eye.

I tend to flip between my left and right sides. Lately is has been really difficult to find a comfy position - or to even roll over in bed.

Re: How do you sleep at night?
ibought a Boppy Pregnancy body pillow ($50!!!)and the pillow was useless!. I basically sleep with about 5 pillows ;2 under head ,2 around the bed randomly and 1 between knees LOL DH says its like digging for gold to try and kiss me goodbye in the morning bc he cant find me around hte pillows LOL. I really sleep i guess "Half belly" I lean onto left or right side and have belly a little under me. Definately noticing changes brewing with my belly. Hopefully I can get comfy bc I am NOT a back sleeper!

Re: How do you sleep at night?
i usually sleep on my back - but as of late - i've been falling asleep on my right side - breathing in the humidifier right next to my bed!
i've always heard/read that your body will let you know when you can't sleep a certain way anymore!

Re: How do you sleep at night?
i dont I pass out around 9 and sleep like a rock for maybe 3 hours- then spend the rest of the night peeing, tossing and turning, and trying to get comforable. I think ill sleep better with a newborn- even though it will be broken sleep.

Me three. I sleep under a separate comforter than DH so that it's less disturbing to him.

We are date twins and I'd say the same exact thing! Lately, I have to wake my DH just to help me roll over! Normally I am a stomach sleeper and cannot wait for the first good nights sleep on my stomach!

Re: How do you sleep at night?
What is sleep? haha. I'm beyond uncomfortable. I wake up 100 times a night to pee or to try to get comfortable. I switch between my left and right side. It is impossible to roll over. I seriously think that I will be able to sleep better once the baby is here. I know I will be getting up every few hours but now I'm up every hour anyway or I have insomnia and can't sleep. I never thought that I would have a problem sleeping!!!!

Re: How do you sleep at night?
I roll around - but for the most part I just sleep in whatever position I feel the most comfortable in. I had no problem laying on my back until about 20 or so weeks. I found a snuggle worked for me with DD - but I haven't needed it so far. Some people love them - others hate them. So maybe try out some extra pillows for support and see what makes you the most comfortable!

Re: How do you sleep at night?
Ugh.. I am so uncomfortable in sleep. I only sleep on my left side with like a hundred pillows. If I sleep on my right, I get bad neck aches and headaches, and even if I lay on my back for a few minutes, it is very painful.
