How do you protect your personal info from clients?
We thought we covered most bases by not having our home number published. I rarely post pictures of the kids or get too personal on forums. On facebook, we set it so only friends can view our profiles and DH won't post photos of himself or let photos of him be tagged.
But at 11:30 last night, the boyfriend of one of DH's clients called our home number bc the chick was arrested. It's very odd bc he didn't even call DH's cell phone and our home number is not listed. DH asked how he got our number and he said that he used his T-mobile G1 phone.
DH has the same phone and called T-mobile this morning to see if there was a breech in security or if there were applications that shared personal info. They are investigating now.
It's a little unnerving bc today at 11am they are going back to court to hear the judge's decision on the client's child custody case. DH is worried that if the guy can get our home number than he may know where we live.
Do you do anything special or have any additional suggestions?

Do you have a website? You can find someone's info if you have a web address and it is not set to private. Just a suggestion, also, have you googled his name?

If you legally live in the US, there is always a way to find out about someone......
