How do you hold out testing until AF is late??

So this will be my 2nd time TTC and last time, I POAS at the very earliest I could possibly get results. I found it impossible not to!! This time around, I would love to not be so stressed and obsessed! Those of you who try to wait until AF is late to test, HOW DO YOU DO IT?? Doesn't the suspense kill you??

It drives me nuts having to wait but because I have such an irregular cycle that if I were to test every time AF is late, I'd buy stock in every company that manufactures EPT's because I'd spend so much money on them! If it's later than "normal" (hah! what's normal for me? ) then I'll test.

But of course 2 days after I give in and test, AF shows. It's almost like AF is saying to me "haha fooled you yet again!"

it use to but when u have been trying for 1o months poas is not so fun anymore lol..but u just gotta tell ur self..longer u hold out better result could be

1.I try not to keep them in the house.
2. I made a deal with myself that if I do buy them I am only allowed to use one package a month, if I use all of them I have to wait until AF is over a week late before I get more. So far it has been working.

Good luck with that LOL. We have been trying for 9 months and I am still POAS obsessed! I've come to the conclusion that I am just not a patient person.

I just bought one test and it was and just because of that, I told DH to hide it from me. I do obsess over symptoms and wonder about it, but I just to make sure that when I do test, I waited and gave my body ample time to figure itself out.. its Y or N

I don't know how I do it but I won't POAS unless I know I'm late and it could be possible. I guess I just hate seeing BFN and don't want to set myself up for it.

I now wait until I'm supposed to get AF. Jus eases the tension better, and I stay busy and try not to think about it.

when you get enough BFN's.. the allure of testing early sort of wears off and you decide to wait rather than go through the disappointment.

To prevent that potential disappointment, you have to wait until you're late. It's the only way to do it!
