how do you feel about this name?
one of my best childhood friends whom i lost complete contact with years ago when she moved was named Ryan... i just loved that name Ryan for a girl..
how do you feel about Ryan for a girl??

i know a woman named Ryan who i love & adore - i like it.
wouldn't work in our family - as one of Dave's nephews is named Ryan....

Honestly, it just sonds too boy for me. I could see it getting put on the wrong lists at school etc. People thinking she is a boy when they see the name etc.

i like it a lot. i went to high school with a girl named "ryanne" or something like that (i can't remember now...), but i actually like "ryan" better. i'm a fan of unisex names.

love it!!! my sister has a daughter named Elizabeth Ryan-so cute for a girl! i know some people will spell it Ryann-with 2 "n"'s to make it more feminine but then some people might pronounce it Ry-ann...you know?
anyway, i think it's cute!

thanks ladies.. DH is so picky..lol he doesnt like any of the really girly names i come up with.. then i try the unisex names and hes like thats a boys name..lol cant win!

I love it- I used to know someone named Ryanne- it was so confusing because some people pronounced her name Ry-ann and some pronounced it Ryan. I always loved the way the Ryan pronunciation sounded . . .

Ryan has always been one of my favorite girls names since I was a teenager. DH is very much against naming our daughter a unisex name such as Ryan. But I love it!!

I love it!! I really like it for a boy as well. Just be prepared for people to confuse the name for a little boy. Ryan is a pretty popular name right now.
I like some boys name for girls. DH and I really like Riley and Dylan for a girl. I always liked Ryan as well.
