i use murphy's oil soap w/warm water...or vinegar w/cold water(makes them shine)

I use the Swiffer but with the Vinegar & Water wipes (safe for wood floors)

My husband read this somewhere and he tried it and it really made them shine.
Boil water and put tea bags in the water, let it cool, then soak a cleaning towel in the tea and water, and then use the towel to clean the wood floors.

I'm going to try this. I've done the other methods and am not crazy about them.

I posted on your other thread but just wanted to add that the guy that refinshed my floors specifically told me not to use Murphys oil soap. I don't remember exactly why but I think it starts building up on the floor. Not postive on that but I do know he said to never use it.

When my cleaning lady uses pledge, I swear I am going to slip and fall and crack my head open. There is nothing like that shine, though. Sometimes we ask her to just use a dry Swiffer.

I take a swiffer mop with the dry cloth, spray water and vinegar and a drop of soap on it. No need to rinse and gives the floor a great shine.
