how do opk's work?
before I buy them, I wanted to know how committed I have to be to this thing.
Do you pee on something everyday? Does it have to be the same time everyday? Does it look like a preggo test? I know nothing about these things!

Yes to all of your questions... if you pick up a test it will give you instructions on how they are supposed to be used...
i recommend the Clear Blue digital tests... the line tests can be confusing...

you pee on the stick (which looks like a hpt) every day starting on a certain day of your cycle (depending on your avg cycle lengthy) until you get a positive result. you are supposed to use it the same time each day.
I agree with Ang, Clear Blue Easy Digital OPKs are good because they are easy to read. You either get a empty circle or a smiley face. They are a little more expensive but worth it IMO.

Do you pee on something everyday? Only starting at a certain day on your cycle until you get the positive result. After the positive there is no need to continue to test for that cycle.
Does it have to be the same time everyday? Yep (or pretty close)
Does it look like a preggo test? Yes, pretty similiar. I agree with the other girls you should get the Clearblue digital. If you get a smiley means you are going to O if you dont then you are not. Takes out the guess work
