I find it repulsive and I'm an advocate of breast feeding...for BABIES!! I could not imagine my eight year old grabbing for my titas....no freakin' way!!

I have NO problem with BF BABIES -- but I honestly was so disturbed by this that I couldn't get past the first 30 - 45 seconds of the video.
I don't just find it odd, I find it borderline abusive IMHO.

But if you shut it off that early you missed the part where the older daughter says she'd rather have breastmilk than a million melons!

I have no problem with breast feeding. i think it is something beautiful but not for a 7-8 year old.  Come one that is too disturbing and it seems mom is getting way to much pleasure..

This sounds awful but I know that I would feel much much more skeeved out if it were male children doing this at 7 years old. UGH. It's still bad though any way you look at it.
Breastfeeding infants, great. Breastfeeding school age children, WRONG.
After my sisters saw this video they would reply "its better than all the melons in the world" to everything, lol.

I think it's very selfish of their mother, it's like she can't let them go. IMO that's just not healthy emotionally.
The sad part is that she basically uses the kids as an excuse saying she lets THEM decide when they're finished with breast feeding. How is a child supposed to know they're done with breast feeding??

Do you (and this is to everyone, not just the poster I quoted) think this would be viewed differently (in terms of abuse) if this were a boy.
I'm honestly extremely disturbed by this. A big part of me screams "this is abuse" when I see that video, but I'm trying to logically assess whether or not it is...
ETA -- I don't think the standards should be different for abuse for boys / girls. I'm just curious if more people would view the video differently if it were a boy instead of a girl.

I am BF now....but she is 7weeks old. IMO...
If she has teeth, she can eat on her own.
If she can talk, she can order her own food.
If she can reach the counter..she can make her own meal!

I do think it would be worse if it were 7 year old boys that were being breastfed.
In the infancy stage I think gender of course plays no role in breastfeeding..it's healthy, it's natural and not perceived in any "sexual" light.
But when children reach the age where they are in school...having conversations, developing their own thoughts etc....it's just wrong that it is continuing. It shouldn't happen at that age regardless of gender but I really and honestly would find this 100 times more horrifying if i saw a 7 year old BOY crawling under his moms shirt to have a snack...
I wonder if this mom would have breastfed this long if it were boys?? Probably. She is pretty disturbed.

I can't imagine what these girls will be like when they get into relationships. They seem so obsessed with breasts, I wonder how that will play out in their future relationships.
I am obsessed with this topic b/c I find it so sick. And I think it would only be a tad bit worse if it was boys, but I don't think it can get too much worse. It's already horrific.
