Hotel Hershey Rave
I know a lot of people on this board often look for weekend getaways that are driving distance. We have gone to Philadelphia, Lancaster, Great Wolf, Hershey, Ocean City, Mystic, etc. previously. Our trip to Hotel Hershey was our favorite by far. It is totally worth the splurge. Total different experience than staying at a cheaper hotel 15 minutes away.
Pool was perfect for young kids. Hotel grounds were beautiful. Spa was excellent. It was a resort experience without needing to fly. We spent very little time at Hershey and most of our time at the resort.
DH did not need to take any time off from work and it was a perfect weekend trip. I highly recommend it.

Hotel Hershey Rave
Is this only about their outdoor pool? How is their indoor pool? We usually go to Hershey in April. We've always stayed at The Lodge but maybe we will splurge this year.

FYI - The Lodge is going to be renovating their entire recreation area, including both pools. To be completed by 2016. So they may not be functioning when you plan to go.
As for the Hotel, the indoor pool is nice. Nothing like the outdoor but nicer than the Lodge's pool. The Hotel just redid the indoor pool last year.

Additionally, since you seem so experienced, any advice on where we may want to go for like 4 days in April?? Somewhere no further than the Hershey Drive but with a real nice hotel and with fun things to do? It also happens to be my 10 year anniversary then so we want something nice, but with my daughter.
Thanks!

What about Boston? Boston is really nice, things to do for kids and adults. We have taken my 6yo there and she really enjoyed her time there.

That's an idea but no nothing about Boston. Do you recommend any hotels and anything I may want to know about it? Thanks

Just saw it, thanks! The only thing I don't think I see is hotel recommendations.

Boston - LOng Wharf Marriott (has indoor pool too). Right near, walking distance, to almost all you would do.
