nyc hotel rave
Just wanted to post a good review of a really great hotel DH and stayed in this weekend..
we had a day/night in the city Sat and wanted something midtown, but not times square area.
The Strand on 37th st between 5th and 6th
it's only been open about a year and it was such a great place! really stylish, reasonably priced and the rooms were actually decent sized for the city
they have a roof bar too 
i highly recommend it!

Thanks. Would you recommend it with a child? Any other NYC recommendations? I lived in the city for a while & I want my son to learn to appreciate all that Manhattan has to offer.
