hot tub you can use year round. pool you can only use 3-4 months, max.
I do like a pool better, but there is nothing better on a super cold winter day then sitting in a hot tub.
Are you guys big swimmers?? If not, then hot tub!!

I agree! My parents have both, but If I had to pick one for my backyard, I would pick the hot tub.

I choose pool.
Hot tubs can get boring IMO, and I would love to come home on a hot day and jump in the pool. It's also nice for summer parties.

What is going on with this clown? I've never seen it and you ladies keep bringing it up. LOL.
My dream was to have an inground pool but now that I have one and never go in, I always say I wish we would have gotten a hot tub instead so I vote hot tub.

So True!! DH and I just bought one because he was positive that it would help his back  . He likes it but I get so bored, whenever we go in it together I tell him that he has to tell me a story.

Yeah...why not do an in-ground pool with a hot tub section? 
I vote pool...because we have a jacuzzi (I know, not the same, but close enough) and we hardly use it.
