high school "enemies"...
have you run into any of them since back in the day, and how did you handle the situation?

Mine used to be my best friend all through middle school/high school. Then we got in the "fight heard round the world" and I haven't seen her since. I do still see her family and they talk to me like nothing happened.

Re: high school "enemies"...
No I havent seen them. My 20th reunion is this summer and i am really looking forward to seeing how everyone turned out. My sister said that in most cases, if they were a-holes then, then they are a-holes now.
As an aside, all I wanted was to go to this reunion thin so I cold rub my bony butt in the faces of the people who taunted me daily for being fat. Now i will have a gut out from here to kingdom come - life has a way of screwing up plans!

I just saw this post and I was going to say how I married my enemies ex We are always on the same page Honestly though we did not get along in high school and now I consider mamandaddyof 3 one of my dearest friends. It's so funny how things can change when you get older.

Re: high school "enemies"...
I thankfully never had enemies, my class all grew up together, so we were all very close. My 10 year reunion was one of the best nights of my life, I wanted to see everyone.

Yes. And it was great. I had this one girl who hated me & it was a situation where she was trying to be in a position I already was in. It was nice to have the upper hand. After all was said & done & I felt satisfied we became friendly.

Re: high school "enemies"...
I didn't have "enemies" but I did have people who teased me in school.
One guy I ran into in a bar the summer I graduated from college. I was going to law school in the fall. He asked me to hang out sometime. I declined.
I ran into the captain of my HS Football team at the mall when I was in college. He came up to me and say hi. I was friendly.
I ran into some girls at a bar one day about 8 years ago . Some of them were bitchy girls in HS. I recognized them but didn't say anything. They came up to me and asked if I went to HS with them. One was very nice and friendly, also an attorney.

I will never forget running into one of the FBDs (Football Dicks) from HS. It was 4 years later and he was wearing his HS football jersey at a bar. Some of the guys on the football team were really nice guys. They were not the ones still in their jerseys 4 years later.

Re: high school "enemies"...
I have always been a size thats "Large and in charge". Two things are funny to me when I run into some of the people that picked on me in school.
1) The skinny stick figure girls that have now gained twice as much as I used to weigh.
2) I work for my local ambulance company and have on a few occasions either taken care of them or their family member(s). Its amazing how nice they can be then!
You should always be nice to people because you never know when in life you'll meet up again and under what circumstance.

This is so true.
My dad always says, "The toes you step on now might be attached to the @sses you'll be kissing later"

Re: high school "enemies"...
High school was so long ago, that I couldn't care less anymore. If I ran into anyone now that I disliked back then, I'd be polite. That's it. This many years after the fact, I don't see the point in holding grudges.

Re: high school "enemies"...
I didn't have any high school enemies.
There were people I didn't like. I was pretty quiet in high school. My twin sister had her enemy & by association, we didn't like each other.
Doesn't matter if I ran into them now. No ax to grind on my end.
