Hershey park questions
Would you recommend a 1 or 2 day trip? I don't want to rush through the park and I don't know if we would expect to get everything done leisurely in one day. DD is 4 and DS is 1. We are thinking I going in the beginning of June . I really don't know if it will be warm enough for the water rides .

Re: Hershey park questions
this year we did it in a day. but doing 2 you cant go wrong. we live in PA so it was about an hour 40 min drive for us. we left late at nite, slept at a hotel, did the park and then drove home. But ideally we should have stayed another nite and drove home the next day.
there are other things to do in the area, shopping, Indian Echo Caverns, there used to be a minigolfing place not too far.
its a nice area. you can do the park in a day if you're not doing water rides, and then spend the next day doing other stuff.

Re: Hershey park questions
I go every year. I can tell you alot.
I would take 2 days for the park. This year we did the park in 2.5 days and it was not too much. So one day for me is just too little time. It's a big park with alot of rides for little kids. There are great shows too. Plan for 2 days at the park so you can take your time, and IF your DC like rides. My DD loves rides so we hit every ride at least once.
May be too cold for the water park section (seperate section). But may not be, so 2 days regardless IMO if they like rides.

Re: Hershey park questions
I would say two IF you intend to do Chocolate World and the Museum. One day for the park and the other for Chocolate World and the Hershey Museum and/or Hershey Gardens.

Re: Hershey park questions
We've gone twice, for one day each time. It was fine for us but we are totally not the people who need to go on every ride and see everything. I'm not sure if it's something they always offer, but when we've gone they allow you to go for free the evening before the day you have your tickets, so you could get a little extra time that way.

We did the park in a day, dutch wonderland another day and then the 3rd day at indian echo caverns and the crayola factory. We were exhausted when we got home but we had a blast!!

Hershey park questions
I think you need at least 2 days. You could probably get away with doing the free preview the night before, then doing the full day since early June is probably not that crowded.
