I don't think the Haitian guy blocks powers and erases memory. I think his power is just to erase memory and it is Claire's dad that can block power. The cop (I can never remember his name) couldn't get any reading when it was just Clarie and her dad. And if he couldn't block Sylar's power, why wouldn't Sylar have just killed him? The Haitian and Claire's dad were always together when the memory erase and blocked power occurred. However, why weren't they able to stop Nathan from flying away the time they had him in Vegas?

I disagree. The Haitian was there in the police station when Claire and her dad were talking to the FBI woman. I think he was blocking the
It was a great episode. I think that his powers started to work when she opened the "slot" to give him the gun. Perhaps when it is completely sealed his powers are blocked. I didn't like Eden, so I am not to upset that she is gone.
By the way- one gossip rag I read said the character who died last night was supposed to die in 6 episodes but due to some contract disputes, they killed her off early.

That dinosaur thing...I got WAY to philospohical about it.
I thought it was a representation of a dragon and Hiro needs to "Slay the Dragon" as in kill the villain.
I can't WAIT till January.
My thought is...how can this show continue on for seasons and seasons? Once they "save the wrold", what could be next?

Totally! I don't remember a show that was ablt to keep me so intrigued like this. I love that its one big story, not a little story in each episode.
Also the other thing I was thinking is that Mohinder's father has to be alive - Sylar needs him to find all the heroes. Also Eden must have known Sylar already - she lived right next door to Mr. Suresh and and Sylar was there visiting a bunch of times. She helped out Mr. Suresh, I wonder if he knew she had powers.

They don't need Mohinder's father to find the heroes. They are all listed on his computer. They only need the password.
And the Haitian guy DOES block powers and erase memory. He is always lurking when a hero seems "disabled".

I think Sylar has magnetic powers and the gun was the reason he was able to crash Eden through the glass (how cool was that!!)
I think the Haitian is the one blocking the powers too, otherwise how would Claire heal at home with her dad nearby?
I also think that all of this is being "run" by Lindermann and that's who her dad really works for. He has waay too many connections to too many of the Heroes to be uninvolved in all of this.
But I think the Haitian is going to turn out to be a good guy.
I really really want to know why Clair apologizes to Peter in his dream. I think that intrigued me most of all.
Great great show. It's the only show on TV right now where DH and I drop what we are doing, turn off the lights and watch in silence!!

I know...I don't know why Claire apoliogized either. Unless she was saying, "I'm sorry" because she felt bad for him or maybe that he "volunteered" to stay to save the world. Everyone else was running away and he was staying put.

Not saying I am 100% convinced that Claire's dad is the power "blocker" but has he ever been in the immediate vicinity, like in the same room with her when she has healed? DH and I were talking about it and he said the same thing as you, but I couldn't remember a time when he was close by when she did heal herself.

Not saying I am 100% convinced that Claire's dad is the power "blocker" but has he ever been in the immediate vicinity, like in the same room with her when she has healed? Hmmm...now I have to think about that too!!

That would only be true if he had already found all the heroes - what if there are more- also his research might be some kind of clue into how sylar takes powers from the others.

I love coming on here and reading all the different interoretations.
It seemed to me that Sylar was using his telekinetic power to force the gun towards Eden and pulled the trigger using telekinesis. Either way, I wonder if he'll be able to gain her power (it looked like the bullet probably went through her head).
As for the dream, DH & I thought that perhaps Peter was near he radiation man and absorbed his power, in addition to everyone else's power standing around him. Think about how he and Matt responded when they were close together and Matt was trying to use his power on him. It was a negative reaction (like two negative ends of a magnet rejecting each other). Maybe the force of everyone's power around Peter causes him to explode. However (this all pure conjecture) instead of exploding and killing people, he becomes some superpower.
I have no clue why Claire would say "I'm sorry." I wonder what secret the Haitian will tell her!
Also, I think Linderman is definitely somehow connected to Mr. Bennet. Mr. Bennet must have some sort of power o/w how would him and the Haitian be able to pop up in Vegas one minute and be home for dinner so quickly afterwards. He pops up all over the country (and they certainly don't show them taking a flight anywhere)!

I agree with this. I think Peter will get near "Radioactive Man" and will absorb his energy accidentally.

How did he say it - as if there was another secret besides that one? I don't remember.
Right, I forgot that if Peter was around all the heroes, that he's going to absorb all of them.
He seemed to get worse when Peter came near though. What if Sylar kills radiation man, absorbs his power, then kills another hero that can change their appearance, and makes himself look like Nathan? Then he comes close to Peter, who can't absorb all of Sylar's powers at once, and becomes some kind of superpower?
I'm reaching, I know. 
But why were all the cars empty? No one was around but the heroes. What scared them away?

That's why I figured Claire apologized - because she wasn't going to save him!
Nathan is evil and I hate him and I hope he gets killed. I think that in the dream that Peter had when Nathan is coming towards him that he's really Sylar - the same way Peter thought he was talking to Nathan and then he turned into Sylar in prison - and whatever power he's consumed (Sylar) causes Peter to blow himself up.
OR...maybe Nathan walks towards him so that Peter can fly up and explode over the city so that he doesn't destroy it..
OR...maybe the combination of all those heroes at once is too much for Peter to handle and that's why he blows up.
I also thought Mr. Bennett was blocking powers..
Soo many possibilites!!

Duh, that's probably the secret! I wonder why then the Haitian needs her to remember everything! Maybe the Haitian is in on the "Save the Cheerleader, Save the World" plan.
As for the idea that Nathan flys towards him so as to avoid him exploding on the ground is a great theory. In the paintings, weren't the explosions in the air? Made it almost look nuclear. I think that could be a definite possibility.
