Help....U/S**Update**
So we had our u/s today and they can't see anything. She said there is thickening but she doesn't see a sac. She said it could be that we're just to early and w/my cycles being so long she doesn't know why they said I would be 8wks. We reviewed a colander and we're more then likely only 4wks.....Would you see anything on an u/s that early? I am FREAKING out. I have 9 + tests and 2 + digitals. 19days late for period, abd cramping, tender boobs, and vomiting. They drew blood so by 3 or 4 we'll have results. I go back Friday to have it drawn again to see how the #'s are comparing. I'm so scared.
***UPDATE***
So I am def. pg!  HCG was 245, and I have a repeat on Friday morning, nad she said she is not at all suprised we didn't see anything. She is guessing we are super early and all of my calculations have been WAY off....thank you ladies. I just needed to hear from the doctor I really WAS pg...

Relax!  I posted on your thread yesterday that it ws most likely too early to see anything. At 4 weeks you cannot see anything. I had my first sono at 5w2d and we barely saw the sac. At this early point in your pregnancy, your HCG beta levels are what they should be checking.

ITA. And a day can make a difference. Even if you know which day you Oed, you may have not implanted on the day you thought. It is hard to pin down in the beginning with an u/s and the bloodwork is the most reliable.

They probably said 8 weeks because they based that on the first day of your last period. That is assuming you have a 28 days cycle. If you know your cycles are longer I wouldn;t worry yet. My forst sono was 6 weeks 3 days and we saw the teeniest thing with a heartbeat. (Pic in album). You are not suppossed to see anything at 4 weeks. Hang in there - when is your next sono?

When was the first day of your last period? I don't think you could be 8 weeks yet. If you are 4 weeks it would be too early to see anything. My doc wouldn't see me until 8w+

Thanks ladies My LMP was Aug 13...I should have started on Sept 22....I have a 35-40 day cycle. I should know in about 1/2 hr what the blood work showed. I'm just so nervous. I KNEW I wasn't 8wks, but they wouldn't listen at the doctors office. I *thought* I was 6wks, but now i'm not so sure....Iguess I'll have answers soon enough....What she did see was my uterous(?) was very thick. She said I was either pg or getting ready to start...That is the only time it's so thick. Let's hope it's because we're really g or i'm writing Clearblue easy one NASTY letter

Try not to worry. If you ovulated late, which you probably did, you should only be 4-5 weeks. Good luck.

The same thing happened to me....they saw thickening but nothing else....a few days later we went in and saw 2 sacs! Now I am 32 weeks pregnant with twins!

i think if you reviewed your dates and you are 4 weeks-- it is WAY too early to see anything on the sonogram. So try to relax, and see what happens with the blood, and wait for your next sono where I am sure you'll see progression.

I am not surprised AT ALL that they didnt see anything. At my 5wk appt all there was to see was the gestational sac and nothing else. Im sure at 4wks its impossible to see anything
