You press m on the first day you get AF. Be careful, though, because it needs to be at a time that will "jive" with your schedule.

For instance, on CD1, I pressed the m button at 8:30am. When you are testing, you can do it during a 3 hour window on either side of the time you choose.

I chose 8:30 because I get up for work at 6, and get up on the weekends around 10. So I can test as early as 5:30, and as late as 11:30.

Hope that helps you some! I know I was totally confused when I started.

CD1 - but it really doesn't matter... just make sure to set it for a time that works for you in the morning since you need to use FMU.

Re: HELP,,I have a ? about CBEFM

My CD1 was on a Saturday, so I was able to press the m button at 8:30. If I'm at work, I have DH do it for me.

You usually don't have to test until CD6.

Re: HELP,,I have a ? about CBEFM

starting on CD6, I would start turning it on in the morning, it will flash test stick when it wants you to POAS. Once it started getting used to my cycles, I wouldn't bother testing until CD11 or 12 (that's based on my body), no need in wasting sticks if I knew I'm not ready to O. (and I'm a late O'er).

The best part is if you have to wake up early on the weekends to go to the bathroom, you can just POAS, put it in the monitor, go back to sleep and look at it later, unlike the regular OPKs where you have to read the lines within a certain time frame.

Re: HELP,,I have a ? about CBEFM

yea, im really excited about this.Did alot of reserach on it after a friend told me about it so i cant wait. Came in the nick of time as AF is due in few days & it said u start the whole deal when u get AF.

So i think i got it all down pat now... once i press the m its pretty much set at that moment to the time that im gonna have to poas when it asks me to

Re: HELP,,I have a ? about CBEFM

Also, just keep in mind that you have to set the machine within the first 5 days of your cycle. Sure you knew that though! And make sure you pick your time frame that is convenient for work days as well as weekends. I woke up 10 minutes late one Sat and it would not let me poas!! I get up at 4am so I set my 'm button' at 7am- this way I can sleep up until 10 am on weekends! That rarely happens though! Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Best of luck to ya! This is my second month using it...I hope this is my month!! Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon
