Help settle an argument with DH about DS's room
We are doing a Yankees theme in there, and will be doing pinstripes. I want to do grey on top of the wall and the classic white/blue pinstripes on the bottom. DH wants to do the pinstripes on the top with the navy blue on the bottom. I think the stripes on the top will interfere with stuff we hang on the wall. He thinks that having the pinstripes on the bottom, you'll barely be able to see them as they'll be covered by the furniture.
And, I will be doing navy blue drapes with the white Yankees fascade over them as the window treatment, plus will be putting the retired numbers around the room, in the same way they are in Monument Park (the white/blue striped circles).
ETA: its a small room...the smallest of the 3 bedrooms in a hi-ranch.

The few pics I found online the stripes are on the top, or you could do neither top or bottom and do this lol-

I like the stripes on top too. But if you're worried about things getting lost when you hang them on the wall, maybe you can have only one wall with the stripes and the others solid.
