Help! I am so confused
Hey Girls,
So on April 13 I got a BFP. I went for blood work that day and my beta come back 114 and progesterone 60, for some reason I wanted to get more blood work, so I went back the following tuesday 4/17 and my beta come back 701. (I was more than happy)
This past Saturday night (April 21) I spotted a tiny bit, I didn't think it was a big deal but I am a super nervous person. So I called my doctor, he told me to come on Monday morning for a sonogram as long as I didn't have any cramping.
I went to the doctors Monday (4/23), during my sono, I could tell the tech was acting weird. After the sono I saw the doctor, they said they didn't think my pregnancy was healthy it was possible ectopic pregnancy, needless to say I was beyond upset. They took my blood that day, my beta came in just under 3,000- and my progesterone came in 59.
I went to the doctor yesterday (4/25) and the doctor sat me down after my sono, and said that I have to prepare myself for an unhealthy pregnancy. I was am only measuring at 4 weeks and 2 days - as per the sonogram. I should be around 6 weeks and 4 day as of my last LMP. My last blood work came back just under 4,000.
They doctor doesn't think my beta levels are going up the way they should.
I am so confused. I go back to the doctor tomorrow morning.. I don't know what to think. I am sorry this is a
lot of information, just wanted to know if this has happened to anyone else?

Im not going to be much help but for being 6 weeks pregnant your beta is IN range and it has been doubling. I dont know why the dr is not optimistic I am sending you lots of good luck vibes and prayers

So sorry you're going through this  I don't know much about Beta Levels and what they should be coming at but lots of for you & your baby!

I was at the doctor again today and he told me not to lose hope! I go back on Monday 4/30 for another sonogram. Keeping my fingers crossed!!

So sorry
I haven't gotten a second opinion, because I really respect and love my doctor. I was seeing his NP who I love, but today I saw my doctor and he made me feel so much better.
it has crossed my mind before I met with my doctor today.
Just trying to stay positive.

hmm even if your last period was whatever date, sometimes when you actually conceive is off. I don't totally understand it all. I would keep the idea of a 2nd opinion in mind if in case. Good Luck

did you trigger? they r sure of exact ovulation date?
did they see anything on the sono like a sac or pole bc if they did it is not ectopic

so first they need to tell you with certainty whether or not your pregnancy is in one of the tubes (ectopic) or if it is intrauterine. are they visualizing anything on ultrasound????
your beta''s are rising which is a good sign. usually you won't see anything on ultrasound until after 5 weeks. you might see a fetal pole or heartbeat. remember, they go by last period, but they don't take into consideration when you ovulated, so you could be earlier than you think, pregnancy wise. so you need to figure out first if it is ectopic vs intrauterine

They ruled out that it's not an ectopic pregnancy, When I had the sono they saw something that resembled what would be the start of a baby, ( they saw a space in my uterus with a think lining around it.) I go back to the doctor on monday 4/30
My LMP was March 13th
I am just trying to stay positive, and hoping this is a healthy pregnancy
